I just got these boots today and I was super excited to find that they both fit and looked great! I have very wide calves and have been searching for great fitting boots for about a year...the search is over! I got the cognac color and it is very pretty, it'll go with everything, and the suede is a a great quality. After reading the other reviews I decided to oder a size larger, and they fit perfectly! I think getting my normal size would have been too small. It's so great to find something fashionable with a great fit and affordable to boot!

I have the Bronx Linus Tall Boot in Cognac. The colour is gorgeous, very rich and true to its namesake. I have a very regular and average size 9 foot, I also have the misfortune of having developed 16 1/2" calves through sports, slightly larger than the 16" shaft of the boot. I bought the boot with some trepidation. The sizing is a bit confusing. There doesn't seem to be a consistent standard for sizing between shoe manufacturers. My Sketchers Bikers size 9 is a size 39 Euro, in my New Balance runner and hikers a size 9 is a 40.5 Euro. I've ordered shoes directly from Europe and always took a size 40, so I ordered the size 10, which lists as a 40 European. I'm glad I did because if I had bought the size 9 (39 Euro), I'm positive that I wouldn't have gotten my foot in there and even if I had, it wouldn't have been comfortable. I also measured the length and width of the boot to a size 7 men's Boulet boot and the length and width are similar, the size 7 men's fitting slightly smaller than a size 9 ladies boot. The boot was initially a challenge to get in to and I was disappointed that I would have to send them back and doubtful that I would even be able to get into a size 11 (41 Euro), the pinch point being the instep to heel. I ended up using a long handled shoe horn and after a 10 minute struggle, got my feet in to the boots. Be patient if you have larger calves and pull the boot on by pulling up from near the bottom of the shaft not at the top of the shaft and then pull it up over your calves once your foot is in. Once on, the boot is extremely comfortable and with wearing, stretches out and molds to your foot, instep and calf making it easier to put on after you've worn it a few times. There'll be about an inch of space at the very tip, but that's how a western boot should fit, you don't want your toes jammed into the pointy end. The boot is very well made, stylish, looks marvelous with boot cut jeans or skinny jeans, tights and skirts. Also, if you have larger calves, you can wear it all the way up (and it'll stay there), or scrunch it down. Lucky for us! Finally a boot made for us, thank you Bronx!
Super Cute Slouch Boots September 11, 2009

I bought these in the off white color, and my pair is closer to the camel color. It's at least two shades darker than the color on my monitor, which is fine because I really liked the camel color anyhow. My only complaint is that the various parts of the boots are varying shades. They all blend together, but I think I would be disappointed if I had paid full price for them. At the sale price I didn't really care. They are quality boots and worth the money I paid.
I bought a size 9, which is my normal size and they fit well and are comfy. My feet are narrow, however.
What I love most about these boots (besides the great price) is the slouchiness. There is definitely room for skinny jeans, but they have that roomy slouchy -around-the-ankle look that is really popular right now. They look great with my above-the-knee denim skirt, as well as boho style longer skirts. They would be really cute with sundresses with or without leggings, too.
Overall, very cute boots!

These boots are perfect for big calves. and really really cute. I got the gray and loveeee them. I have larger calves so i can wear them up or slouched and love them. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is they are ridiculously hard for me to get on. I have yet to perfect the technique. but after they are on they are really comfy i wore them for the first night to a party for 6+ hours dancing and standing the whole time with no issues. order a size bigger.

I really wanted some cute boho boots to wear with dresses (since I am now pregnant...I prefer to wear them for comfort) I have larger calves....they measure 15.5 at largest point...and it is very hard to find the pull on boot style. Let alone ANY style since they are all 14 inches!!! These did not disappoint me at all!!! I can even wear some super long socks to scrunch up with these. Pair it with a girly dress and I am all ready to go. The ankles are a little larger but since they are big in the calves...they scrunch slightly. Trust me...if you don't have stick legs...these are adorable!! The camel color is not as light as the picture...but it's not that far off either. Wish I had the money to buy the gray. Maybe I'll have to beg my husband~~
